Philippine Airlines completed its wide body refleeting for long-haul operations with the arrival last May 4, 2019 of the 6th Airbus A350-900 aircraft that are designed for ultra-long haul flights to the North America east coast and Europe. Capt. Emmanuel Generoso led the delivery team that flew the A350 direct from the Airbus plant in Toulouse, France.
Starting on November 28, 2018, Wednesday, all flights to and from BOHOL will arrive at and depart from the new BOHOL PANGLAO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, located in Barangay Tawala, municipality of Panglao, on Panglao Island. (The old Tagbilaran Airport, located in Tagbilaran city proper, will be closed effective at 6:00 am on Nov. 28) This is in accordance with the urgent official notification issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).
